我們為何堅持全食物飲食The reasons why we provide whole-food meals only?


全食物可泛指為天然且未經過加工的食材 這表示食材保有它原本的完整性、未精緻化,或是只經過最少的處理, 在全食物的型態之下,我們可以吸收到來自於食材自身更完整的營養, 例如:糙米、藜麥、豆類、全穀物類、堅果、各種新鮮的蔬菜及水果等等, 而白米和白土司等則因為經過多道加工,僅能被歸類在精緻澱粉類,不能算是全食物。


另外,在我們的認知當中 只要食物被改變了原貌並經由工廠量產,它就成了食品(加工品) 這些加工品除了有顯而易見的問題如防腐劑、人工香料等化學添加物之外 還有著一層層不易看見的疑慮…...


許多工廠為了滿足市場需求而大量的生產加工品,又為了滿足大量生產而進行單一品種的大量種植因而犧牲了原有的生態平衡,因為此種栽種模式多需仰賴化學肥料以及殺蟲劑等以達到最大量化。這樣不僅是忽略了自然環境的永續精神;在生產及後續運送過程中,碳排量更是不容被忽視的環境殺手。


因此在 諦 Veganism 共響空間,全店皆為全食物烹調, 只使用天然且未經加工的食物,拒絕加工食品, 當然更不會有人工添加劑以及防腐劑, 這一切的用心都源自於我們期許自己: 「端給客人的餐點也是我們自己願意天天吃,依然能夠感到安心及健康的」


The term ‘whole food’ describes food with minimal processing. It is food that hasn’t been processed or refined before it’s eaten. This type of food typically contains fewer calories and more nutrients than other food, such as vegetables, fruits, legumes, whole grains, nuts and seeds.

In our view, food that has been changed their natural appearance and processed by any factory would be called: processed food. This type of food may contain some obvious concern from preservative to artificial and chemical additives. Other than that, there are also factors behind the factory production line.

Industrial agriculture was designed to meet the huge amount or demand for plants. However, monoculture farming relies heavily on chemical inputs and pesticides, and of course, the biodiversity has been neglected under this type of farming. Carbon dioxide (Co2) emissions from transportation in between factories and consumers is also a huge impact on environmental issues.

Therefore, we provide whole-food meals here in order to present our customers the healthier options. Everything in Satya Veganism is additives and preservative free. What we wish to sale to our customers is also what we’re happy to eat every day.
